We recently stopped to eat at Sgt. Peppers Chicken located in Martinsville, Indiana on our way back home from visiting my husband\’s grandmother. My husband Stuart is from Martinsville and has eaten at Sgt. Peppers Chicken is whole life. It is our go-to-stop if we are in the area. They are an American style restaurant that has excellent food and the staff is always great. Sgt. Peppers is a hotspot in this small town and I can definitely see why. They have been in business for about 38 years and they started with their own original recipe.
If you are ever in the area I highly recommend stopping in and having a delicious meal. They have a large variety of sandwiches, appetizers and of course chicken. My personal favorite is their chicken livers, because I am a sucker for some good chicken livers. My husband usually gets the chicken and gizzards. A lot of their orders come with their delicious fried potatoes, also a must. They offer full catering for events and their restaurant is also available for private events.

They are located at 2028 Burton Ln. Martinsville, IN 46151. They are open Monday-Saturday 11-8pm and are closed on Sunday. Sgt. Peppers Chicken is located next to Traderbakers Flea Market which is also a popular place to visit in the area. You never know what you will find there. We didn\’t stop in there on this trip, but these two locations are a great way to spend an afternoon.
